The Donahue Sportsmens Club, Inc. is a youth serving organization focusing on softball, baseball, nature conservation and other outdoor activities, which devotes its resources to teaching the principles of true sportsmanship and promoting harmony and good fellowship.

Article 1: The Donahue Sportsmens Club, Inc. is a youth serving organization focusing on softball, baseball, nature conservation and other outdoor activities, which devotes its resources to teaching the principles of true sportsmanship and promoting harmony and good fellowship.
Article 2: The business affairs of the Donahue Sportsmens Club, Inc shall be managed by a board of a maximum of fifteen (15) and no less than seven (7) directors who shall consist of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Groundskeeper and additional members to be elected and approved annually at the February meeting.
Article 3: The Board of Directors shall meet on the first Sunday of each month. Special meetings may be called by the President at any time, or by request of any two (2) members of the Board of Directors.
The presence of a majority of all of the directors and members shall constitute a quorum for transaction of business at any meeting of the Board of Directors.
Article 4: It shall be the duty of the President, or Vice President, to preside at all meetings, and to exercise general supervision over the affairs of the club as its interests may require.
It shall be the duty of the Secretary to notify members of the Board of Directors of special meetings by order of the President or Vice President; to notify membership of all annual meetings and special membership meetings; to keep a proper record of all meetings; and to perform all other duties as requested by the Board of Directors.
It shall be the duty of the Treasurer to keep proper record of all financial transactions; to collect dues from the membership and issue official receipt therefore; to pay all claims allowed or approved by the Board of Directors; and to perform all other duties as requested by the Board of Directors.
It shall be the duty of the Groundskeeper to maintain the beautification of the park as well as ball field maintenance and to perform all other duties as requested by the Board of Directors.
Article 5: The Board of Directors shall appoint all committees with at least one (1) member of the Board serving on any committee appointed. No committee shall consist of less than three (3) members of the club.
Article 6: No Director, Officer of Member shall receive any compensation whatsoever, other than incidental expenses incurred while acting for the interests of the Club.
Article 7: The dues of the Club shall be one dollar ($1.00) per calendar year, payable in advance. No Member shall be entitled to vote unless all dues are paid in full.
Article 8: Membership shall be limited to any person, eighteen (18) years or over.
Article 9: Any Member guilty of misconduct may be expelled by majority vote of the membership. Anyone making a charge to expel a member must do so in writing to the Board of Directors.
Article 10: Any articles of the by-laws of the Club may be amended at any regular meeting by a majority vote of the membership present, upon one reading, notice of which is to be given at the previous meeting.
